Should be on every social & behavioral scientist's bookshelf
I had to virtually memorize this book in grad school, and it has stood me in good stead. It is one of the most important works in the field.

Sits on my desk
The most important book on research designs to have, I use it weekly. It's brief, to the point, and 100% sound. I used it while in academics; now I find it particularly good for real-world (versus only laboratory) studies that need to be done quickly and on a budget. Though I've read it front to back, and have dog-earred lots of pages, it's value is that of a quick refresher and quick reference. A brief, inexpensive paperback.

A true classic in experimental designs
Covers numerous true experimental designs along with inadequate designs. Based mostly in educational and social sciences research. A must have for the social sciences graduate student

Years of Expirience in a book
After teaching Bible interpretation at Dallas Theological Seminary for about 40 years, I'm sure Dr. Zuck has plenty of wonderful things to contribute to anyone who desires to sharpen their hermaneutical skills.

The Best Basic Text to Date
Zuck's work in this book is excellent! He is in-line with Ramm's "Protestant Biblical Interpretation," but more up to date.

Field Researchers' Bible
This is a "must-have" book for anyone engaged in field research or a student of field research methods. The approach is to maximize validity of research findings based on a number of considerations in the design of field research. Examines the pit-falls made by most new and inexperienced field researchers and evaluators. Before you conduct your next program evaluation, design an applied research study, or start to collect dissertation data, read this book!

Essential for Evaluation Research
"Quasi-Experimentation" carries on the work begun by Campbell and Stanley in "Experimental and Quasi-Experimental Designs for Research." Beginning with a discussion of the positivist origins of science and evaluation research, it details a range of quasi-experimental approaches suitable to "real world" research, together with statistical techniques applicable to each. The book includes a realistic assessment of the barriers to randomization in natural settings, including the observation that true randomization is rarely used unless there is a marked power differential between the researcher and the subjects. The book is thoughtful, well-written, and invaluable.

I have read this excellent book by Kenn Gangel, Personally I want to say that this book is excellent and extraordinary. Because of his insight and scholars background plus his background of practical ministry that make this book became awesome. Especially in Christian Coaching, this is quite new and nobody writes in the some topic as good as Gangel does. With Biblical and scriptural passages background plus practical way of coaching principles and action make this book easy to read and very beneficial. Making It In The Music Business:The Insider Secrets
I have been in the music business for over 10 years. I've
read several books on the music business. When I heard about this new book called Making It In The Music Business:The Insider Secrets, I felt that I had to read this book. The first thing that I notice was that this book was written by musicians, not an attorney, like most of the other music books that are out there. The book broke down how hit songs are written, how often an artist is paid, what percentage the artist/writer's are paid, a business plan, and much, much more!!! This book is a must read by all musicians, artist, and performers. -Christina Mcnair
