DR. BEN HAS TRULY PUT HIS HEART INTO THIS BOOK HE POINTS OUT THE CENTRAL AFRICAN AND ETHIOPIAN ORIGINS OF NILE VALLEY CIVILIZATION. HE ATTACKS FLIMSY, BIASED, PEUSUDO "HYPOTHETICAL LIBERAL AFRICANIST SO CALLED SCHOLARS, AUTHORITIES AND HISTORIANS" WHO HAVE A VESTED INTEREST IN DISTORTING THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN AND ITS INDIGENOUS PEOPLE. THIS BOOK IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL AFRICAN PEOPLE. IT WILL BE READ MY FUTURE GENERATIONS STILL TO COME.
SMART INTELLIGENT TELL THE TRUTH
THIS BOOK IS EXCELLENT HE TELLS THE TRUTH I LOVE IT THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS WERE BLACK
a concise footnoted book that expose historical distortions
A masterful book that expose the historical distortions of the Black Man of the Nile.Hieroglyphics, mathematics, shetches of the Head of the Royal Egyptian , Bronze Statue of IMHOTEP,The Great Spinx of Ghizeh, and the Black Madonna and Child are samples of Great Cultural History of the Man Black of The Nile. Our Education system here in the United States always leave out the Real facts of the great accomplishment of the Black Man in the World. These facts are distorted only to keep a race of people down for their benefit. This book will educate one on how history is so wonderful to read and understand why society behaves to any group of people in the negative manner, because their history hold something very valuble that the rest of the world should not know!!!!!!!!!.

This is not scholarship
If you have already chosen to think that "racist" white academics and theologians have been covering up the "truth," then this book will serve to confirm that which you have already chosen to believe. So buy it, read it, and remain convinced. It won't change your mind, nor will it provide you with any verifiable facts about anything at all. But if you are looking not for facts but instead for esteem-building mythology and fanciful tall tales, this is the book for you.
If, on the other hand, you actually have some interest in the ancient world and in the origins of modern religion, do not waste your time or money on this or any other work by the notoriously counterfactual Dr. Ben. Start elsewhere.
well documented and researched
Another classical researched body of work by DR. Yosef ben Yochannan. he deals with the early african origins of judaism (hebrew faith) Christianity and islam. He shows how the ten commandments were extracted from the 147 confessions so called "negative confessions" as well as african folklore nad mythology that went into the making of these so called "western religion" he deals with early african character who played critical roles in the early development of "judaism", christianity and islam. such characters as st. Cyprian, Tertullian, St. Augustine. Bilal ibn rabah, Al-jahiz and Ibrahim al Mahdi. this work is in depth and well researched. it should be read by all, but of course only by some.
Dr.Ben at his best
I must say if you read one Dr.Ben book you read them all. However the African Origins of Major Western Religion is on of Dr.Ben's greatest works. Dr.Ben explains the ideologies of Christianity,Islam, and Judism confronting the fact that all of these religions are based on African Spiritual concepts. He shows in an easy to understand manner the stolen concepts that europeans have used for their imperilistic benefit. This book will make you question why it is you believe what you believe as well as where do you stand as a human being in the universe. I highly recommend this book to all students of African history, and Religious concepts.

Not worth the bother
As a serious student of history and Bible study, I thought that the title made this pamphlet seem like it might present a new and challenging perspective. Something to provoke thought. Well, I could not have been more wrong. Even at 24 pages it is almost all padding. At best out of an entire paragraph, one sentence might contain some real content. But that is true only half the time. Most of what little information is given is not new or controvertial. It is for the most part available in any good bible/history study. The only part that is even remotely new or interesting, is that it is written entirely from a Afro-centric point of view. And if you are black, none of that is new, either. In short both a waste of time and money. Even if free, it might not be worth the two minutes of your life it would take to read it.
Required reading for King James Version followers
I used to think the kjv was the only bible from God (OT) written in his own words and later in Jesus (NT) words. After reading this reference guide, I have come to understand the bible is a collection of stories (versions)written from "men inspired by God" (see front credits of any kjv) including Shakespeare. This means anyone "inspired by God" can write such a inspirational book such as a pastor, bishop, rabbi, cardinal, etc. Even an ordinary man or woman can do so if he/she is "inspired" to do so. My second discovery which is just as fascinating, was at least 16 major versions of the bible were written before the kjv. The first one written approx 6000-7000 years ago (5000-4100 BC) There are also dozens of bibles other than kjv that you should find somewhat difficult or expensive to obtain. (I wonder why!) I close in saying the 3 major religions, Christanity, Judiasm and Islam all require you to seek God through Jesus, Abraham and Mohammad and basically three books (KJV, Talmud/Torah, Koran). Just like there are dozen of references to read about any subject, one should seek out more than one reference to the truth.
