A Taste For Money.
Wow! What an excellent book! As soon as i started i could not stop. I finished in 3 days. The compelling story of 3 men overcome with the plague of greed is absolutely fantastic. Great graphic accounts and and overall outstanding job in all areas of the book. This book satisfied my thirst for mystery, action, and a law enforcement genre of a book. Every account was significant and the story unfolded very vividly thus, making the book one of the best i have ever read. Now i cant wait to read both of the others. Pete i wont hesitate to say YOU are the man and thanks for the good read.

"taste of Money"
What in incrediable book. I started reading it and just could not put it down. These boston police officers did what, most parents of young children want to do to drug dealers.

I can not wait to read Pete Mars next book The Tunnell.

Peter Mars does it again
If you like "true crime" you will enjoy this tale of a rogue cop on the take. Once Mr Mars completes his tedious research of his characters he writes a poweful novel about their greed that certainly is a page turner. Right from the very first "pay off" Joseph O'Fallon will take you on a ride through New England that you wont forget. You will ask yourself does crime really pay or doesn't it. So read it and find out what happens to Joseph O'Fallon and his cronies. You won't be able to put this book down. I'm waiting for his next book to be released in October.

Global Warming Is Real!
This is a novel about "Global Warming", a worst case senario. It's intelligent, captivating, educational one of those books that really makes you take notice of the luxuries we take for granite.

This should be required reading in schools for all ages. Read this book, change your ways and pass it on to a friend. Thank you Mr. Burns.

Totally Awesome!
A friend of mine knows the author and the guy that did the cover artwork. He said I just had to read this book if I read no other all year. I read it and I was moved and enlightened beyond words.

Man what have we been doing all this time that we haven't even taken the time to realize what we're doing to our planet? We need to STOP, THINK, and PLAN for our future. This book really makes you open your eyes.

It has a great story, characters and plan of action. The cover art work is way cool as is the story. Si-Fi NO WAY! Action/Adventure, most definitely! Read this book, then have a friend read it and keep spreading the word. Time is of the essence.

Hot!
You want a hot, seat of your pants read, then this is the book! It starts out a little slow but well worth it in the long run. Great story, great characters, food for thought.

Don't miss this book, we the people need to realize what we're doing to out planet and fix it. We can't wait any longer. Read this book for yourself and your family then tell everyone you know to do the same. Mr. Burns has true insight. This is not a Si-Fi book it has been misclassified by Amazon, it should be under Action/Adventure.

Burn Fat for Fuel
Review for Burn Fat for Fuel Fat to Fabulous in Only 28Days

My husband and I are both "into" this book and its"Live It or Diet System." We are both over fifty, and aware thatwe need to eat right, watch our weight , get more exercise - and weneed inspiration.Donna.Michaels-Surface inspires us in her new book"Burn Fat for Fuel.

With her example, her stories, and her greatsense of humor( one of her chapters is called " 'A Little Behindin a Big Hurry' Lower Body Routine"), she is able to communicate tous in simple terms complex information.

As a breast cancer survivorand one of the many perimenopausal women of today, I personallyappreciate her explanations of cellulite and what todo about it ( HereI was thinking it was hopeless!), estrogen, testosterone etc. She alsohas inspired meto lift those weights and offers great instruction andphotos of howto do those lunges and other exercises correctly.

Fabluous At Fifty
What a wonderful book. Such insight and wonderful information presented in a fun and easy to read format. Donna and Dr. Snyder really hit home with their diet program... especially their information regarding food allergies. This is a must read for anyone who wants to live a longer, livelier and healthy life.

The Kids' Guide to First Aid
This book is perfect for kids and not bad for adults either. It is very clearly written and has outstanding illustrations. The health strategies and tips provided are done in the context of prevention... But things happen, accidents occur, kids get hurt. This book helps you and your children learn/know what to do in these situations. A fun, interesting, read.

You are never to young to learn!
I have 2 young children (ages 5 and 9 yrs old) myself and helping them understand what happens to their bodies when they hurt themselves is tough to do. Not to mention what to do when they are injured. Sometimes it is more "scared about the unknown" than anything. This book really helps the child research and learn how their bodies tell them when they are hurt and how to take care of the simpler injuries themselves. Plus, the format of the book draws them into learning about their bodies before an injury occurs. The illustrations are funny and help drive the points home in a kids kind of way. Great book and my daughter is already trying out the different first aid techniques in advance. Teach the child and you have taught the adult forever!

The "V" of Russian Literature
While few fictional books stand the weather of time (in this case, the Cold War, its thawing before then warming into something entirely new), Vasily Aksyonov's "The Burn" has manaaged to, and I expect will always, endure. The author, whose mother was the famous and very courageous Elena Ginsburg who wrote of her prison experiences ("Journey into the Whirlwind"), was trained as a medical doctor and had merged into literary circles, encountering virtually everyone from Steinbeck to the Metropol before being personally exiled by Brehznev. In short, he is a Giant, a prospective for the Nobel. This book long considered his magnus opus, chronicles a group of friends, their experiences in the former Soviet Union and combines jazz, science, politics and very large questions. Astonishingly, it has most often been compared to Pynchon's "V" and, as such, the author writes in a very western and post-modern manner; if Gogol had endured the Cold War and completed his "Dead Souls" series this might be something of what it would appear. This book soared as a bombshell upon its release (its own screaming across the sky heard far), and should be immediately acquired by anyone interested in Russian literature.

The Work of an Unheralded Genius
With "Gemini," Michael Burns has introduced himself to the world as an author whose breadth of imagination and depth of perception is without compare. Novels are all about character, and the characters with which Burns presents us are as vivid and as emotionally complex and believable as is possible in fiction. We love the characters for their good points, hate them for their flaws, blame them for the consequences of their actions and sympathize with them for their circumstances. Most importantly, however, is that these character's provide us with insight into what it means to be living in the world we do. The novel opens our minds to the realities of day to day life that we never seem to examine, and, in doing so, sheds light on what we all value and despise, and probes into the reasons why we do. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in how we as humans live and interract with each other and anyone who understands what it is to suffer and deal with suffering.
