Amber Brown is funny- actually, absolutely hilarious!
The Amber Brown series is good for everyone. I own the entire set, (all six books!) and think a lot about Justin moving away... I've already had a few best friends move away also. Although there are some sad parts, like when Justin threw away the bubble gum ball, it is a hilarious series.

All of these books are great! I share them with my class!
I checked out Amber Brown Is Not A Crayron and read it too my class. They loved all her adventures and some of my students could really relate to Amber Brown. Once I finished the book we discovered she had written more books. I read them each year to my class! I hope Amber Brown continues her adventures.

Positive, happy affirmation for Black children
I love reading this book to my 18-month old. The illustrations are fanciful and childlike, and the text is lovely. I'd love to have more books from this author.

Amber Brown goes fourth
This was a very good book, great for kids in the third or fourth grade. Ambers best friend moves away, because his father gets a new job. Amber has alot to deal with now. Her parents are not together and she has lost her best friend. This book shows how Amber copes with all these things. It also is helpful in showing you how to make new friends. Great book, would recommend it to everyone who has ever felt a little left out or just lonely at times.

Please read and enjoy
I picked Amber Brown is not a Crayon because I like the book very much and I like reading something that is funny. And like Amber brown she is a teenage girl like I am.She talk about things that I would talk about. She goes through things that most girls and families goes through. There was one book that she wrote was Amber Brown goes to fourth grade and her mom tries so herd to get her up for school and she makes up the most stupid lies that I have ever heard .But in the end her mom makes go to school anyways .And I will rate this book to 5 stars because that is a very good book. I reccomend all people out there read this book.

Best Book ever!!
Amber Brown is not a Crayon is a 5 stars book! I suggest you read this because in the book Amber's friend Justin moves away!! If you've ever had a best friend move away, you would love this book! Amber has had a very tough life because her mom and dad are divoriced. She bairly ever gets to see her dad. She really loves her mom and dad both and wishes that they would get back together again! If your parents are divoriced then you would know how Amber feels. When I read this book I said to myself this is the best book I've ever read and then when I told my class they agreed! So that is how good it is!! If you don't read this you'll be very sorry. So just put down that gameboy and nintendo and get reading!! As I said before I loved this book so much I couldn't put it down!! Other books that are in the Amber Brown series are Amber Brown Forever, Amber Brown You Can't Eat Your Chicken Pox, and Amber Brown goes Fourth!!

A Easy Reader
The book was ok. In most of it I thought it was very good. I thought the part when they had a skunk day was pretty funny. I rated it with four stars because it was a good book, just not the best.

Another Great Read!
In this book, Amber has a growth spurt, and is enjoying fourth grade. She is worried about her parents because they fight like children. Her mother is engaged to be married again and Amber is concerned about her love for her father. What's a fourth grader to do?

The best Amber Brown book
I simply adore Amber Brown books!I love Amber Brown sees red because it is so funny. I especially like the bit when her school is full of skunks. My second favourite character is Brenda the Amber sitter because her hair is always a different colour, she wears wacky clothes, wears loads of earings and seems to be the best babysitter ever!Keep writing, Paula.

I Amber Brown is a Blast
I have read other Amber Brown books and looked forward to reading this one. She is pretty cool. Sometimes I think she has more brains than the adults, especially her mom, who sometimes seems very spoiled and selfish for an adult. This is a funny true to life on target book. If you haven't discovered Amber Brown, this is the one.

A great book!
I bought this book for my daughter to read during X'mas break. I soon as she started reading the first page, she could not put this book down. She laughed the whole time. I`m not happy with my grades or my parents
Imagine your divorced parents are starting to date new people. Would it bother you so much that it would affect your grades? That's exactly what happens to Amber Brown.I enjoy all of the Amber Brown books. Her life is interesting and her problems are believable. I can't wait to read more about Amber and her family.
I recommend this book to kids that like funny, true to life stories. I think this book would be enjoyed by ages 8 to 80.

Amber Rocks!
I have read alot of Amber Brown books and this is my favorite so far. She a normal girl and learns to handle things-I really like to read about her!

Amber Brown Wants Extra Credit
This is a girl named Amber. Her mom and dad are divorced. The BIG problem is that Amber's mom gets a new boyfriend! The new boyfriend's name is Max. Amber is afraid that Max is going to take her dad's place.

It was Amber's moms BIRTHDAY! Amber spent all her money. She didn't even have a cent. So she gave her mom Amberion certificates, five of them. Amberion certificates are paper with Amberion on them and the person that it's written to. Amberion certificates makes Amber do things that she does not want to. Example when she does not want to clean her room. Another example, she does not want to go out to dinner.

In the end, Amber's dad gets a new girlfriend.

A Fun, Light Read!
I love these Amber Brown books. I'm thirteen, so these books are a fun, light read. The books follow third grader Amber Brown, who, in this book, is coping with the fact that her best friend, Justin, is moving. She must learn to deal with her feelings with Justin. It's funny and sincere and you'll definatly like it!

Like Friendship? Read This Book!
How would you enjoy getting into a fight with your friend? In Amber Brown is Not a Crayon by Paula Danziger, Amber Brown got into a fight with her friend, Justin. Unfortunately, Justin is moving away. I really like this book because it reminds me to get along with my friends.

Amber Brown Goes Forth
This is a wonderful book. Amber is entering the fourth grade with all of the normal concerns. Along with this, she is also upset about her best friend, Justin, moving away, and her father and mother being divorced. Amber is able to meet a new girl the first day and decides that she will have a new best friend and life does go on. This is a quick, easy read and one that can be read out loud as well.

L.Newman
This entertaining book was an easy read and provided much pleasure. Amber Brown is nervous about starting fourth grade, misses her best friend who just moved away, and would love to have her Dad living at home again. These issues are apparent throughout the whole story. Her dad calls her before the first day of school and at the end of the day to let her know that he too wishes he could be there but the divorcee makes this impossible. The usual fourth grade things happen the first day (teasing, armpit noises, who went where for vacation, etc.) in school and Amber is able to make a new friend. They are placed in detention together due to their excessive giggling. Amber is able to realize that life does go on. The illustrations compliment the text in their simplicity and originality. At one point, Amber writes what she wants her new teacher to know about her and it is done in a child like scroll. This is the third book in the series and worth reading. I highly recommend this book.

AMBER BROWN GOES FOUTH
I think you should read that book . Her mom gots a friend and Amber don't like it at all. She's mad because Justin move away. The first day of school she knew she had a new best friend. That's why you need to read that book.

Amber Brown Is Feeling Blue

In the story, Amber Brown is feeling blue, written by Paula Danziger is about a girl named Amber whose parents are divorced and for Thanksgiving, her Mom wants to take her to Walla Walla, Washington but her Dad wants to take her to New York. She doesn't want to choose - but her parents are leaving it up to her. To make things worse, Amber Brown isn't the only one in school with a colorful name anymore. Kelly Green is the new girl in her class...Amber ends up showing Kelly around the school and they become best friends.

My favorite part in the book is when Kelly sees another student throwing up so she ended up throwing up too.

I chose this book because it is about a girl my age and I wanted to learn about her life and how it compares to mine.
