This little booklet is chock-full of one or two line passages of advice worthy of anyone's consideration. You've no doubt heard a few of these common-sense gems while most will be new discoveries.

Great instructions for life
This is an easy to pick up and read for one minute or read the entire book. I love to use it as a graduation gift for my students. They say it gives them all the things I have been teaching them over the years in one compact little book.

It literally changed ...
I picked up the book while staying in a Bed & Breakfast in the Napa Valley and began to read. It's little sayings were so simple, yet, meaningful. I had to find a copy. Glad I finnaly did!

Inspiring
I initially bought this book for a friend of mines who was about to attend university in the fall. However, I after reading several pages myself I found that I could hardly keep it down. It contains life changing short stories and quotes that are sure to make anyone cheerful.

I have now decided to buy a copy for myself.

Highlights in Yellow
When the world is so busy and you don't even have time to think, you can go to this book, sit down, and relax and forget all of your worldly concerns. A lot of people in the world today have forgotten what is really important in our lives. When asked that questions all would reply that their family and friends are most important but too many other things always seem to get in their way. This book talks about all the important things in life and is a great book to read over and over. I've bought ten copies and are giving them away to my family, friends and customers. Hopefully, this book will touch many peoples lives and will make the world just a little better place to live. If you wnat your heart warmed and your soul cleansed get a copy of this awesome book today. You won't be disappointed. It should be on every home's coffee table. Can't wait for their next book to be published.

More great advice!
Several years ago, my brother gave me LIFE'S LITTLE
INSTRUCTION BOOK by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. . . . it contained
fatherly advice that the author gave to his son, Adam, before he
left for school . . . I loved it; so much so, in fact, that I gave a copy to my daughter before she began college.

Volume II came out sometime thereafter, but I've only managed
to track it down within the last few weeks . . . and am I glad
that I did . . . although none of the advice is particularly

earth-shattering, virtually all of it makes sense.

I found myself reading each idea once, then revisiting it
a second and sometimes even a third time as its wisdom
hit home . . . there were many memorable bits of advice;
to cite just a few:

Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt, but it's the
only way to live life completely.
Create a little signal only your wife knows so that you can show her you love her across the room.
Remember that everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves
something, and has lost something.
Remember that just the moment you say, "I give up," someone else seeing the same situation is saying, "My, what a great opportunity."
When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
Don't marry a woman who picks at her food.
Never miss a chance to dance with your wife.
Ask yourself if you would feel comfortable giving your two best
friends a key to your house. If not, look for some new best friends.
Take the stairs when it's four flights of less.
When talking to your doctor, don't let him or her interrupt or end the session early. It's your body and your money. Stay until al your questions are answered to your satisfaction.

I have to rebuy this book, it is wonderful!
I bought this books once. It is a lovely design book with a hardcover and bookjacket. This is the second book which was revised and upgraded by J. Brown. The book bears the same tittle the first one did:"Life's little Instruction Book" , which was meant for his son in college. Somehow, it became a bestseller. Now he come up with more words of wisdom, he offer us volume 2. There are so much incouraging and practical sentences in the book which I found them tremendously helpful for anybody who are willing to practice them. I am sure you will want to read them everyday, if you want to be a better person. I gave my first one to a friend. She loved it. Now I feel I need to buy another copy for myself. I highly recommend this one to anybody. PS. They have another book tittle "The Complete life's little instruction book". I don't know if it is the combination of the two. If it is, I think you should order it instead of this one. One more thing, this version is the nicest lookin one I found in store. Don't go for the paper back version although they are at half the price of this hardcover.

Inspirational and witty
I found this book to be a wonderful little volume filled with thoughts and ideas that are designed to challenge us to a better, more fulfilling life. You can't help but recognize the wisdom and truth in these pages. If you were to only apply 1/8th of this book to your life, you would find yourself to be one of the happiest and most fulfilled people you know. I guarantee it.

a great insperation.
After visiting my boyfriend this past weekend, I seen this book. As I started to read it, I could not put it down. It is a great insperation when you need a quick pick me up when you are in a "different" mood or confronted by a situation. I am getting a book of my own.

WE NEED MORE LIKE HIM
H. Jackson Brown's work is a masterpiece!

To read his books simply makes you think and puts a smile on your face.

Thank you Mr. Brown.

live & learn & pass it on
this is a really awesome book! it has the cutest sayings about life and the ideal book to read when you're having a bad day or just need a lift. most of the sayings are true and from people of all ages, which is why it caught my attention. i had originally got this book browsing in a library on my college's campus and checked it out, not knowing what to expect. it has sayings in it like "if you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got" by a 51 year old; and that "even though its hard to admit, i'm secretly glad when my parents are strict with me" by a 15 year old, and that "a mule dressed in a tuxedo is still a mule" by a 70 year old and that "being a success at the office is not worth it if it means being a failure at home" by a 51 year old. after reading these passages, i'm positive that the average reader can look through the passages and find a lot that can and does relate to his or her life.

Written motherly conciousness
This was the first book I bought of H. Jackson Brown. The presentation and size of the book caught my attention and after reading the introduction I was totally into it. Is very easy to read and can be completely read in about an hour. Do not ignore this book for that, this book can uplift your spirit at any time any where. I read it every once in a while to receive the peace and tranquility the book imparts beside the motherly wisdom. I an not a "romantic" but this book apply to everybody's sensible side, no matter how hidden it is.

Just a wonderful book of quotations
This is a wonderful book of quotations taken from letters written by the authors Mom to him and his sibling. It is a wondeful book with sometimes witty, sometimes funny and sometimes very true observations.

A bundle of humourous and thought provoking phrases
Statements like 'Behold the tortoise, he only makes progress when he sticks his neck out!' and more give the reader food for thought with a little humour in a world where everything is safe and how it should be. Read this, and maybe you will gain the inspiration to try something different, something outrageous, something courageous.
