A true love story with action/adventure, too.
I read love stories, but they have to be more to them than two
talking heads. Blood Pearls is the best of two worlds. I got my romance and I got a lot more as well. This book has so many twists and turns I couldn't put it down. It's a real page turner.

Blood Pearls
I enjoyed this book very much ...Pat Lynch does a great job of telling an intriguing story ...one that keeps you reading !!! she describes places in such a vivid way , that y the reader feels like they have been there ...she brings all of this into her story & it is very good ...with a little love story & mystery story combined.
This is a very interesting story
Susan Manning

Fast-paced international intrigue
If you like your action set in exotic locales, Blood Pearls is a definite must-read. The author exhibits a real knowledge of China and its people and government. Corruption, violence, murder, and a steamy romance between a Chinese cultural guide and a hotshot American businesswoman -- this book has it all!

Tales to Tease the Senses
Published in Paperback by Xlibris Corporation (January, 2002)
Author: Pat Booth-Lynch
Amazon base price: $20.99

A real winner!
This book was a total surprise. From beginning to end, I never knew what was coming next. Each story had such a twist at the end, just like an Alfred Hitchock film. It's a perfect book to take to the beach or for a quiet read on a rainy night. I liked the book because I don't have much time to read, and I found I could finish a short story in no time, even on my lunch hour. I'd recommend this to everyone.

An intriguing read
As the write-up on the back cover of this book states, these stories really do tease the senses. I've never read such a collection of tales that spark the imagination. Each story has a surprise ending, and it's fun to see if you can outwit the writer and guess the endings. A really fun book for one's own enjoyment or as a gift to someone who may need a little uplifting and a chuckle or two.

If you like Hitchcock endings, you'll love this book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book of short tales. The endings surprised me every time. A wonderful read for those stormy days or for that trip to the beach in the warmth of summer. In fact, it seems to me to be a perfect gift for a "shut-in" or someone in the hospital.

Pat Booth has what it takes!!!!!
I bought this from my bookclub and hoped it was a steamy novel like the rest of her books. It wasn't, but it was superb in a different way. These three women in the book will win your heart from the start. Don't hesitate, this one's a keeper!

Not what I expected!
Pat Booth's new book "Marry Me" is not like her previous books. I expected it to contain adult contents. I am only half way through but I can't put it down. If only I had all the time in the world I could finish it in one sitting. It always upsets me when I have to put it down. Definitly a page turner.

Sun, sex, sin, and scandal in a small town with big money. Enjoyed the book!

I am writing to try to reach Pat Booth.
Pat, I have the hottest story for you. It is a true story. It deals with money, power and murder in Palm Beach, Fl. I would like you to e-mail me and let me know when you are going to be in the area. If you are not going to be in the area soon I would like you to make a special trip to Palm Beach on me. We could have lunch. I would really appreciate it if you could e-mail me with a response as soon as possible. Ted

The Sisters
Outstanding writing, a real page turner that keeps you from putting it down. Her best work (have read 4 other novels from Pat). You will not be disappointed!

SISTER DEAREST by M. Boucher
Pat Booth is in the same league as Jackie Collins. She writes steamy, no holds barred, page-turners about the rich and famous. THE SISTERS is a compelling roman à clef of two famous siblings. One's a bestselling author; the other is a well-known actress (hummm...who could they be ?). Both have a secret to hide, and one will try to destroy the other in every way possible. Set in Hollywood, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles, THE SISTERS is sure to grab you from page one. The author delivers a well-written, fast-paced, steamy story that surely will make you read into the wee hours of the night! A not-to-be miss international bestseller!

This is one of my Favorites!!!!!
This book was perfect!! Just the right blend of love and heartache to make a perfect story. I think this is one of her best! Not as steamy as some of hers, it is a very good cold winter's night book to curl up with.

Indexing the Manual of Good Practice
Published in Hardcover by K G Saur (July, 2001)
Authors: Pat F. Booth and KG Saur
Amazon base price: $99.00
Average review score:

Indexing: The Manual of Good Practice
This book covers a lot of ground, and Pat Booth's eloquent writing style makes it easy to spend countless hours with it. Whether you read the book sequentially (cover-to-cover) or open it to random pages, Booth never fails to make it worth your while. Even so, I highly recommend reading Chapter One, which dispels myths about indexes and indexing, first.

Indexing: The Manual of Good Practice is extremely well organized. Its twelve chapters include:

1.Indexes - Purpose and Uses; 2.Indexers; 3.What (and Whether) to Index; 4.Forming the Index Entries; 5.Editing and Presenting the Index; 6.Serial Publications; 7.Images and Sound (Audio) Recordings; 8.Subject Specialisms; 9.Literature for Children; 10.Managing the Work; 11.Technology; 12.Professional Organizations and Interest Groups

Overall, I agree with Mary Piggott (President of the Society of Indexers, 1995-1997), who wrote the Foreword for this book. She said, "Indexing: The Manual of Good Practice is at once a revelation for the potential or beginner indexer and a source of reference and revision - also of enlightenment - for the experienced practitioner."

Happy indexing! .... Lori

Yummy!!!!!
These three books are fabulous!!!! Well worth the money spent. If you always wanted to know how the "other" half live, take a break with these books!!! In no time at all, you will be so into them, you'll hardly know the rest of the world is there. I read these ten years ago when I was working in a public library. They almost fired me for reading on the job! Young as I was, I was totally fascinated with these books. I read them from the start.

Nashville

Pretty good
I enjoyed reading this book, especially since I love country music. This book managed to potray the image of Nashville well and the writing carries it off brilliantly. The plot is interesting and if there's a flaw in this book, it's only that the main character Savanna is too darned perfect. Looks, talent, courage and wealth. The little snippets of imagined country songs are also one of the important element that supports the sincerity of this book. Kudos!
