A Nobel-Winner Book
This is a set of two volumes of a monography by Aage Bohr (son of Niels Bohr) and Ben Mottelson, conceived during 1969-1975. The monography summaries the current knowledge of the atom's nuclear structure. Mainly because of this extensive treatment of the Nuclear Physics A. Bohr and Mottelson received the 1975 Nobel Prize in Physics. This is certainly A-Must-Have for any physicists interested in Nuclear Physics.
