I have been looking everywhere for this book. I am a kindergarten teacher. I laughed out loud the first time I heard another teacher read this book. Now, I want it for my own baby. In this book, the boy keeps asking his dog to bring toys to the tub, until the dog jumps in himself.

Reading Fourth Coast was like taking the trip, with anticipation for every new day and experience Ms. Blocksma related. I learned a lot and eagerly anticipated each daily adventure. When the trip was over, I put down my book and cried, so sorry I was to have it end. Read it.

This book is an engaging read, light, yet highly informative. It is instructive with a fresh perspective on nature. You'll learn about plants and animals that you have probably taken for granted for years. Mary has researched to the nth degree, but delivers with a childlike sense of discovery. It will be hard for you to put it down.

This book left an image on mind. I was ten when i read it and it made me want to live in the twenties. I think one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much is because every last page was so very detailed. The illustration in this book makes everything seem so real. If there ever was a book that i recommend kids to read it would be this book. I also think that the author should do many more books like this one.

This is a fun read-a-long book that your child will quickly memorize and want to read with you. It's full of fun pictures and animal sounds for you to make. My four year old grandsons favorite is when the cow says "Moo Hoo" to the moon. Your child will love it and so will you. I have to read it again and again for Josh.
