A lovely and inspiring summary of Graham's life and views
David Frost is famous for asking intelligent questions and Rev. Billly responds with bright, inspiring and informative answers. Loved it.

Billy is cool :)
This book is filled with many excerpts of the conversations that David Frost had with Billy Graham. You will learn a lot about Graham since Frost has been interviewing him for 30 years. So this is more like an overview of them that is divided into ten categories which includes faith in God, family & marriage, politics, moral & social issues, sin & temptation and more. This is a great book for everyone, especially for people who are in need of a good witness, encouragement, and advice.

History it is not; a tale by a fascinating raconteur.
His present notoriety will polarize readers. Read 3 books: Plaster's "SOG", Tailwind, and "Achilles in Vietnam." RVB's tales are fun, engrossing, but are also completely filling the space between fact and fantasy. I met him just before the CNN debacle and heard the rest of his life. As a Regular Army physician who attended Command and General Staff College, I could relate to many of his experiences - but so many are so hyperinflated that it is incomprehensible to me how CNN could believe the "nerve gas" additions made to RBV's Tailwind tale. For fact, read "SOG". For fun, read "Tailwind". RVB is, I believe, a true born again Christian - yet...why would he as such lend credibility to CNN's BS? Now read "Achilles in Vietnam". Bob is definitely not a rigorous historian baring all to light; but he is neither as evil as his ex-comrades feel, when seen through the lens of "Achilles". His house, den, his life revolves around his VN service; yet he has tossed this away. Why?

Well written and engaging autobiography
Excellent book about Bob, a Green Beret in the army and a survivor of the Vietnam War. This book follows Bob throughout his life with funny and purposeful anecdotes to illlustrate his choices and their consequences. If you look at his story as just a ho-hum story, your missing the point. Instead focus on which direction his life turned in response to each of his major life decisions. If he were to write another book, I would buy it, for there is no better example to learn from than someone who has done it all and happily succeeded.

I have a friend who was there, and I wonder if he's alive.
Good book I read 15 yrs. ago. I have recently learned from a friend, the brother of a"Tailwind" participent Green Beret, SOG sargent. The here-un-named Green Beret told the brother that -- the author-- --Lt. Van Buskirk-- was NOT allowed to include some 400 pgs. of text due to NSA restrictions. One wonders, to this day, if anyone can tell the truth about "Operation Tailwind."
