Forget "Boogie Nights", because this is the real thing. This book has it all, and Rona tells it all in an unabashed, historically insightful style. An incredible read for the the 90's frame of mind to catch the whimsical surprises of the sexual scandalousness and controversial 70's. This book is truly a masterpiece. It tells of her very human struggles as a "fat Jewish kid" that children used to tease. Her desires and dreams to be "Miss Somebody" and her willingness to succeed at all costs. She tells secrets of her crushes on the famous people she met and how she found true love with her soul mate, Bill. She speaks of having been the first female, Jewish reporter and the politics behind broadcast journalism. This book is definitely worth reading!
