Wonderful journaling resource
This is a wonderful book on journaling. If you liked this book and would like to read and use mroe books on journaling, read "The Healing Journey" and "The Healing Journey for Couples," both by Phil Rich. There are also 5 other journaling books in the Healing Journey series.
Extremely helpful, even years after its first edition.
I met Christina Baldwin through her father, Leo, when he was a colleague of mine. Ms. Baldwin's personal journaling experience is honest and open, much as she is in person, and gives permission to be the same when one is journaling. Her encouragement and examples made me return to journaling after many years' hiatus.
I would recommend "One to One" for anyone who wants the opportunity to reflect upon their life's journey.

Elegant & Accessible
Blending insight and personal stories with practical spiritual practices, Christina Baldwin has created an elegant and engaging presentation of the the importance of the inner voice. I love the brevity of this book. I'm in the marketing research business and we hear all the time that, in our fast-paced world, getting to the point with less text is better. This book delivers the good stuff. And is a charming reminder to all on the spiritual path why we work so hard to still the mind to listen to the "voice of the spirit"

What the world needs now!
This is a book for our times. Christina provides a much needed paradigm - a new container within which human interaction can happen in a spirit of respect and tolerance. It is an important answer for anyone who has ever wondered how to be a peace maker in their own lives and in the world. I have used what Christina teaches, and it enhances every interaction all the way from talks with my spouse to large organizational meetings. It is useful at every level of life. It is beautifully written, and it leaves you with highly useful tools in your hand and hope in your heart.
Calling the Circle: The First and Future culture
Christina Baldwin's Calling the Circle is a book that offers information critical to our survival as a human community. How do we break through our cultural barriers and relearn how to treat one another with respect and honor the collective wisdom that we so desperately need at this time in our history? Read this book to find a proven methodology, a way of being together that, when practiced allows us to connect on a heart level, to honor and understand one another even though we may disagree. We need this information now more than ever.

Postive look at the future of many
One thousand persons a day are passing the boundary of 50 years of age in the U.S. Unfortunately from the past we have an image of "old" as sick and decrepit and rather useless, and certainly powerless. This book dispels that image with strong stories of women who are proactive about their lives, even into their 90's! Each story is inspiring in its own, and the whole gave me a great boost in personal power. I have already given copies to my friends, and they have loved it too! Put this one on your Christmas list for your women friends of all ages.
Growing Better Instead of Growing Old
It's about time for a book like Our Turn, Our Time! I loved this book! Go Goddess go! Twenty five women are redefining the difference between growing better and growing old. I especially loved the chapter,"Sexy at Seventy" in which the author describes the kind of sex life I'd love to experience at 40. I'll have what she's having.

A Wonderful Tool for Spiritual Growth
I have journaled almost as long as I could write, and I have had my copy of this book for probably ten years, and I still come back to it over and over for insight and inspiration. Not just a journaling book, it's a book for growing as a human being. I can't recommend it highly enough
Excellent - jumpstarts a lifetime of spiritual journaling.
My copy of this book is dog-eared and worn, highlighted in pink and feathered with little yellow stickies. I recommend it as one of the best introductory journal writing books around. The format is unique. On the left hand page there are quotes, poems and insights. On the right hand page is the actual book, which combines literary, spiritual and psychological insights. I've been journaling for almost 10 years now and I still go back to this book for more inspiration.
Life's companion: Journal Writing as a Spiritual Quest
Life's Companion is an essential tool to anyone going through life's transitions. I have had it with me since 1991 - ready to use when I needed some help sorting through what I was experiencing. It will never be passe, old stuff - the words are as meaningful and helpful now as they were the first time I used this book. I especially appreciated the right-hand page of journal entries, quotes and exercises. If you have one book on your shelf to nurture your self-growth, it should be this one.
