Quick, easy and you can actually read the print.
A fellow medical student showed me this pocket book and I am glad I bought it. It is very easy to use and the print is readable. The best part of this book is the list of dosing for Peds. I don't have to look up the amount based on the kg of the child; its right there. Highly recommend for those of us who work or do clinical rotations in the out-patient setting.

WOW! From Head to Toe, the way to go!!!
This is an amazingly useful and easy to use book! Unlike most other antibiotic guides this one gives you all the information you need when a patient with an infection is in front of you in the office. Not only the drug of choice, but useful alternative therapies, dosages (adults and children), common adverse effects and other helpful prescribing information. And it's so easy to find the infection you're looking for- since the book is arranged from anatomical top (HEENT)in the front to bottom (GU) in the back. There's a separate section for antimicrobials in addition to the one for the disease syndromes. The book fits perfectly into a lab coat (or shirt) pocket and is up to date and highly accurate. The best antibiotic guide I've seen.

Important Historical Record
Benjamin Franklin helped the woman's movement of the 18th century. Through the use of a hoax, Franklin helped to spread the word of woman's treatment by the justice system. By creating a person, Polly Baker, a person that exsisted only on paper; he was able to give the people a champion for women's rights. This book is fascinating as well as an important historical record.

Extremely charming, beautifully illustrated with no words
This book is about a hamster who accidently dirties the new page of his book. He tries all sorts of things to get the page clean, and of course nothing works. The illustrations are charming, and there is absolutely no text. You can describe what is going on or have the child tell what they see. My daughter "read" it when she was in first grade, and now as a senior in high school, she is still looking in the library for it, just one more time.

Clemson University Student Book Review
Benjamin's Balloon by Alan Baker is a children's book about a hamster who blows up a balloon which carries him away. He flies into snow and finds himself far away from home. After failing to fly home in an airplane he makes out of snow, he decides to make something else. The large, detailed illustrations put the reader close enough to the action to be a part of Benjamin's adventure. With the illustrations, the reader not only becomes best friends with a hamster with glasses, but also does everything from flying away with the balloon to landing in the snow as a wet hairball. This is a fun and humorous book for all ages.
