Great Reading
This book has helped me understand the things I am going through, and how to cope with them. I have a hard time not living with my daughter, but this book makes it easier. It is not a quick fix it...but this book will show the ways of the "hows and whys" of what you are feeling and dealing with.

a woman's view
I am writing to say that I am divorced woman and that this book has helped me and my ex-husband deal with our seperation and helped us to better parent our children in seperate homes. It is a excellent book with loads of useful parenting techniques in this difficult situation. Not written for just the live-away dad, but for the ENTIRE family. EXCELLENT

AN OUTSTANDING COMMONSENSE APPROACH
As part of my job as a phone counselor, I often speak to fathers struggling to stay connected with their children after a divorce. I am glad to have this book to recommend. The author has a practical approach to good fathering. His suggestions are direct and reasonable. The book is of great value to parents(mothers as well as fathers) who are not living with their children. It is also a "how-to" manual that can be used by any man who wants to be a better father. The author's emphasis is always on what will best serve the needs of the children involved. I highly recommend the book to counselors who work with parents and, especially, to any father who wants to learn how to excel in his most important role.

A Fantastic Book From A Fantastic Professor!
Dr. Williams is my professor of Philosophy at TIU this semester, and I must say that there is a VAST wealth of philisophical and spiritual devotion and thought that went into this book just like there is in class. I am majorly impressed that he is just as good a writer as he is a professor. You CANNOT pass this book up if you are a Christian. It will make you think and FEEL your faith and teach you to make it your own-teach you to be satisfied with the faith you end up with-and pursue more. If you are wishing to help challenge your thought process and how it relates to your faith, look no further. Dr. Williams wrote it all in this one volume.

Almost one hundred challenging meditations
Most of us live in a time of increasing prosperity but, our lives filled with material goods, activities, information, and full schedules from morning to night. Why then are we prone to a kind of spiritual restlessness and a yearning for a better, simpler, less harried life? Clifford Willis is a professor of philosophy at Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois who addresses this phenomena of a spiritual hunger and restlessness in the midst of plenty in Why Aren't We Satisfied? This compendium of almost one hundred challenging, encouraging, highly recommended meditations on a diverse spectrum of issues and topics is organized into ten "reader friendly" chapters that will be read with appreciation and benefit by anyone who, with all they have, are feeling that there is still something vital and necessary missing from there lives.

Contemporary Advertising with PowerWeb and CD-ROM
It would be nice if the glossary on the CD-ROM went along with the book - makes learning confusing. It would also be nice if ther was a uniform code of terms that went along with my other marketing classes. I had to ask my teacher what we were going by - the book or the CD-ROM terms - teacher says to forget the CD-ROM - also, I bought it used so I didn't recieve the card with details on how to get into the website.

Great book, but wordy
Great reference for marketing communications from advertising to sales promotion for new comers to the field. Good resource for small businesses as well. Outstanding examples throughout the text. Very readable, but could be more concise.

The coffee-table textbook! Beautiful and well-written.
Throughout all my college years, I've never seen such a beautiful, well-written textbook. The book showcases advertising as advertising should be showcased. The vibrant colors and engaging text make it a pleasant read. William F. Arens has a wonderful way of explaining the seemingly complex with simple everyday words.
