This fascinating and historic masterpiece transports one back in time, to a different world than which we suvive today. A refreshing portrayal at what life was when a woman, in all true femininity, lived by her beliefs and virtues. The characters come to life with all conflicts of emotions as they weave their story and feelings, making this a romance that any woman would desure. Even todays woman. The true meaning of God with his purity, Love and forgiveness flows through these pages like liquid gold and reminds us of the stand we should have. I recommend this novel to show us our beliefs and loves in life today can survive with a pure heart, as they did back then. The Brides of Glory Gulch series is an exciting, romantic story of wonderful charming characters living in the midst of a rugged logging town in 1880's Colorado Mountains. I was hooked from the very start. I just love these mountain people and enjoy being carried back into a time of rugged men, chivalry, and virtuous women. These unique and talented people all have their own special gifts, their faith in God and the power of love that changes lives. Angel in the Saloon is a wonderful beginning to a fabulous story that will most certainly touch your life in a remarkable way.

Marie Angel wrote a masterpiece with this book. It is one of the few technical books I have ever read from beginning to end in one sitting. This book is a must for every serious calligrapher.

This book contains examples of some wonderful small-scale paintings, along with advice on materials and techniques. The painting subjects are mostly drawn from nature, with very few historical examples. I'd recommend this book for people who are interested in making their own calligraphy or small book projects and would like to incorporate natural subjects into their work. It is not a historical treatment of calligraphy or illumination, but would be a good addition for the library of those interested in contemporary work.

My entire family of various ages, particularly my 3 year old ,enjoys looking at this book,over and over again.Each letter of the alphabet is represented by a familar or unfamilar animal, accompanied by a finely detailed drawing.An inspiration of artwork!

Really great toys and dolls shown, alot of things shown that I never knew were made.Lots of pictures.I really enjoyed it, and will use it for priceing stuff.

I am an intuitive person, but have had no psychic experiences. Nevertheless, I found this book to be very intriguing. Ms. Blend has a way of putting the reader into the story without being heavy handed. This book is very thought provoking and would be perfect to share with your significant "other". I recommend it highly.

This book reminded me very much of Maeve Binchy's simialr stories. This author has the same wonderful celtic tone and can capture a very strong sense of place and character. The descriptions are wonderful. I highly recomend this book!

It is sure the girl whose name is Angel is cute but sipecially I love her toys and animal characters. Some cat is wearing swimming goggles. Another one is sliding on a bear's back. They are really enjoying, so I can feel her house is a wonderful place. If I can live her house, I would play with them every day.

I read this book while waiting to have an appendectomy. This book was so random that I laughed so hard that it hurt.

I learned a great deal

It has much for the beginner as well as the experienced New Age reader. I'd recommend it to anyone and have given copies to friends. I hope in the near future, more of the author's books are translated from French to English
