The best animal book ever written
As a Vet. I would highly recommend this book. It has certainly helped me in my practise.

The one book that can keep your pet from the vet.
The information in this book really works. My dog is totally healthy and I know many of my friends who are using the recommended methods to either heal their pets or keep them healthy. It's probably the only book out there on preventive medicine for our animal family members.

Wonderful book about what it can be like to be epileptic
This book was beautifully, poetically written. This is an enchanting book for kids and adults with a with a wonderful tale to tell. It does a wonderful job describing not only what it was like to epileptic in Victorian England, but also what it can feel like to be epileptic today. It also does a great job just describing what it was like to grow up in Victorian England.

Offers just what the title promises: a net-sex yellow pages
I found this book recommended on Coyote's site, and wondered just what it was that America's foremost prostitutes' orginization would recommend it. No, it's not a guidebook to finding hookers with WEB sites, but it is an excellently organized guide, in the same general format as others in the Complete Idiot's series, to WEB sites for vicarious thrills, sexually related products and accurate, sexually related information of all kinds by a psychologist and his wife, writing more as friendly fellow consumers than as professionals.

I still don't know why Coyote recommends it, though I assume it's because they are in turn rcommended (quite appropriately) as a major source of information on the prostitutes' rights movement and proposals for legalizing or decriminalizing (NOT the same thing) prostitution, but separate chapters cover everything from sexual/medical information sources to sites prviding titilation and more for those interested in things "kinky" of various sorts and gender bendering etc.

Minor disappointment to me is the systematic covering of all the "naughty bits" in all the WEB site photos that occur typically several to a page and illustrate most of the specific textual write-ups in this full length book, but this is minor: this volume is not pornography masquerading as a refrence work; it is a genuine reference to pornography plus very much more that's sexually oriented and to be found on the WEB.

My major hope is that it will be frequently revised and reissued, as any reference to anything WEB-related must be in order to remain usefull, and that the authors plus others involved in producing and distributing it make much money from the project as they so richly (pun intended) diserve -- it's well worth its cost!

Refreshingly Authentic
In this day and age where what seems to make it in this worldis that and those people who conform to the do's and don'ts ofcorporate America, or perhaps I ought say america with a small"a", FM is a most refreshing change that renews my belief that there are still original thinkers out there making personal and important statements that are not only artistic, but personal, cultural, politically relevant, psychologically astute and desperately needed. It is hard to hold onto the hope that individuals can grow up in this world, develop and hold onto and feel good about an authentic sense of self - so kudo's to Lisa Adams for creating this book, and for those whos work appears. I am always impressed by the work of Lauren Hartman who seems to really have found a path to her authentic self - may she never lose that, and may this book inspire others to find theirs.

Great book!
This book makes total sense. Why not try the nutritional approach to ADD it can't hurt. The book brings up some great points. One being that people with ADD/ADHD are more prone to food allergies. Allergies to everyday foods can contribute to negative behaviors assocaited with ADD.

The ADD and ADHD diet by Bell and Peiper
Many Doctors seem to have limited knowledge in the area of nutrition. This book gives one insight into possible alternatives to traditional medicines. Having family members with multiple allergies, I feel this book shows you other poosiblities. This was a great introduction to ADD and diet options.

When you've been diagnosed and don't want drugs
This book advises that once you have been diagnosed with ADD by a physician, you should educate yourself as to alternatives before starting drug treatment. I was very glad to find that many other things mimic ADD and kids actually may not have ADD. This book took me through a step by step procedure to eliminate triggers that may cause symptoms. I am glad that someone finally realized that kids (and adults too) need alternative choices to drugs. I firmly believe that we are all different and some of us respond to drug therapy without complications, but to put a child on drugs without first determining if they really have the illness is criminal. If your doctor can't tell you what is causing the ADD, then do more research. This book will help.
