Very Helpful Book
I have been tired for most of my life. In college they used to prefix my name with "fall asleep as soon as she sits down girl". After numerous blood tests, a doctor finally reccommended nutrition. Pam's book really helped me understand the causes of my fatigue. I can't say I am full of energy now, but I am much more energetic than ever before and I have lost five pounds to boot! Thanks, Pam.

My life is in this book
Pam Smith has once again done a great job! The book explained so well what the pros and cons for every trend diet and how these do not work. I, myself am a living testimony of that. I look forward to staying and keeping on a steady track to achieve my maximum health level. The Diet Trap lists out the meals, snacks and even a shopping list of all that our bodies need. A great book with wonderful effects.

The Energy Edge by Pamel Smith
This book was so full of information for an easy to follow plan for your diet and your life! I couldn't put it down! I wanted to know more! I wanted to get up to practice what I was reading and she was right. No frills, just practical information you can use. I knew she was a Christian and I could tell the influence on her book. Very balanced and enlightening!

The Incredible Invention of Alexander Woodmouse.
This is a wonderfully engaging book, full of the kind of highly improbable inventions that children would find perfectly logical. The illustrations have so many artful details to pour over endlessly - and grown-ups will like this book as much as children. My children wanted to build a submarine like the Water Beetle - THIS was a problem - as were the flying tin wings. But regardless Alexander Woodmouse is a family treasure.

Excellent book to help children understand an ill parent
I've recently purchased several books to attempt to help my 8 yr old daughter understand my Bipolar disorder. This book wasn't quite what I expected, but has still been very beneficial. The mom in the story appears to be suffering from schizophrenia, but even though some of the symptoms mentioned were different from what my daughter's seen me experiencing, she still could relate to the story very strongly and has asked me to read this with her numerous times. Overall, this book has been very helpful in helping me and my daughter communicate about my illness.

Excellent Book for Children With a Mentally Ill Parent
I am the webowner of the Mental Health Sanctuary, and I myself have mental health disorders. This is an excellent book to help children understand that they are not alone with their thoughts and feelings of having a parent with a mental health disability. A little story of a young girl's experience with her mentally ill mother and what it feels like. The child expresses her feelings about her mother's behavior as well as the close relationship she has with her grandma. To those of you parents who have a mental health disability as I do, I caution you when you read this book. It will trigger many parents. I burst into tears immediately with feelings of guilt and sadness for the child that I raised. You may want to consider having someone else read it to your child.
