5 stars are not enough!
What more could you expect from Rochelle Alers, but a awesome book. The story of Victoria and Quinten will make you laugh, cry and jump for joy.

Victoria has been through the mill. She has step out in opening up her own catering business after she survived a nasty divorce.

Quinten is determine to find what makes his beautiful neighbor tick. He wants to reveal why she has the sadness in her eyes. After believing that he will never find true love, he is determine to make Vicki his wife.

This is the kind of story you can read over, and over again. Rochelle develops the relationship at a good pace. You learn the background of the characters to help you understand their feelings.

I LOVED IT and I know you will too!!

Great Story
Rochelle Alers is the bomb. Everything she writes is good. You don't even have to read the bad of the book you know automatically that it's good. There were alot of lessons in this book. Also it really explored Catering Business, trust, love, adoption and friendship.

I love this story!
Caryn Edwards came to Marble Island to get some peace and quiet. She has been through quite an ordeal with her failed marrige. She was also looking forward to a break from school. She taught Home Ec. She decided to take her friends up on the offer to rent their summer home while they were away. What she didn't count on is having a housemate.

Logan Prescott was getting away for some peace from a shock that changed his life. He was renting his friends summer home on Marble Island, but was surpised to find a beautiful woman would be sharing the home with him.

Summer Magic is actually one of my favorite stories by Ms. Alers. This is a true romance. You actually watch the characters fall in love right before your eyes. Yes, they both have issues, but they find solace in each other. They then realize they can work through things together.

Ms. Alers stories are always wonderful. No matter what the topic is, she does a marvelous job. Even her novellas are wonderful. I have all Ms. Alers published works. She is very well known for her Hideaway Legacy Series. Summer Magic, Home Sweet Home are two of my favorite stories outside the Hideaway Legacy Series. Get them !!

Summer Love
This is one of my favorite books. I have read it over and over and each time I like it even more. Caryn and Logan's romance was a wonderful love story.

Caryn first marriage left her with hidden scars and she did not want to open up to Logan for fear of repeating heartaches. Logan also had a rough time in the love department. But the love and passion that they shared was truly special.

If you have not read this book, please do you will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon!
This book was what I call a hesitation buy--I hesitated to buy it because I didn't think I was going to like it. Having just finished two of the Hideaway series books, I'd gotten used to spellbinding action combined with romance from Ms. Alers.

However, Summer Magic turned out to be one of the best purchases I've made this year1 i absolutely adored Caryn and Logan, and I agree with a previous reader who would like to see more of their story. The small-town setting in no way diminished the passion and romance that I've come to expect from Ms. Alers. Summer Magic lived up to its title and more than met my expectations. From the first page to the last of Caryn's journal entries, I was completely drawn into this story and hated to see it end. Good job, Ms. Alers.

So Real!
Hidden Agenda is the second novel I have read by Ms. Alers. Matthew Sterling is hired to find Eve Blackwell's abducted son. As Matthew and Eve go through many dangers and obstacles to get her son. They fall deep in love. This story and the characters were so real. I fell in love with Matthew Sterling. He was so strong and loving. He is the idea man most women dream to have. I have read the book over and over Thank you Ms. Alers for creating strong black men who are willing to love and sacrifice for black women.

The best book
Hidden Agenda was real good Matt Sterling he was one smooth brother and i liked his personality and Eve that was on strong african sister and the story seem so real i am going to read my again. I hope that Ms Alers come out with an update

What a Wonderful Love Story
Eve Blackwell desperately wants her son Christopher back. Christopher's father Alex kidnapped him. Eve seeks the aid of a man her uncle Harry knows named Matthew Sterling. What Eve doesn't know is that she will play a part in a plan so dangerous, it could take her life as well as the life of her young son.

Matthew Sterling is going to help Harry Blackwell's neice find her son, but this is the last time he will go undercover. He is going to sell his motel and spend the rest of his life as a farmer. He meets the lovely Eve and feelings begin to surface that he thought were gone.

Eve and Matt play the husband and wife charade. Well after a while it was no longer a charade. Now in order to find out what Alejandro Delgado did with Eve's son, they have to find him.

Hidden Agenda is book #2 of the Hideaway Series. This story features Matthew Sterling who appeared in the book Hideaway. I have read this book many times. It is one of my favorite's in this series. If you haven't met Matthew, please read Hideaway to get a good glimpse at him before reading this book.

a.)Sensuality b.) Intrigue c.) Mistery d.) All of the Above
Definitely, all of the above! Ms. Alers has done it AGAIN! Provided all the ingrediants needed to create a "LOVE FEAST". (I'm thinking that's a good comparison, because Salem had me licking my lips and my fingers:-D)

Sara Sterling is a woman who has it together inside and outside of the courtroom. She stumbles a little around Salem, but fine men can do that to us and of course she has her share of problems, but my sisters, don't we all? Salem was no different. He was the BOMB, too. Their relationship was totally co-dependant. There was none of that "weak-willed-woman-looking-to-gain-the-affection-of-a-sought-out-hero-without-a-problem-in-the-world-by-impressing-him" stuff. Salem needed and wanted Sara just as much as she needed and wanted him. I could appreciated that.

Rochelle has always had a way of pulling me into her stories and JUST BEFORE DAWN was no different. I laughed, hollered, caught my breath in my chest, and I'm not ashamed to say, it even made me blurt obscenities -- more than a few times.

Thank you Ms. Alers for another wonderful love story. You left nothing for question and I can't wait to read about Chris and Emily.

Ms Alers Has Done It Again!
In this book Rochelle Alers continunes the Hideaway Legacy which includes characters that make you stand up and take notice. Ms Alers always pulls you into her stories there're so intense, there is always something happening to one charater or another in the story. I really loved all the new characters that were introduced in this book including the grown-up versions of Sara, Christopher, Emily, and Micheal. Sara and Salem were written well toghter. It took a while but they got it together. I really loved this one. I can't wait until the saga continunes with Chris and Emily. But I must say Ms Alers, Micheal might be a hard shell to crack! Much love to Rochelle Alers!

JUST BEFORE DAWN
AWESOME! ROCHELE ALERS DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! I AM A HUGE FAN OF MS. ALERS AND LOOK FORWARD TO READING HER BOOKS. THIS BOOK LIVED UP TO EVERY EXPECTION. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. HAVING READ EACH OF BOOKS IN THE "HIDEAWAY" SERIES, IT WAS FUN REVISITING MATT AND EVE STERLING. BUT I MOST ENJOYED THE BEAUTIFUL LOVE AFFAIR BETWEEN SARAH AND SALEM. SALEM IS ONE TERRIFIC GUY. MS. ALERS REALLY HAS A WAY OF PULLING YOU IN AND MAKING YOU FEEL THE CHARACTERS. I ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE WITH SALEM. IT WAS A TERRIFIC BOOK AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO THE SERIOUS ROMANCE NOVEL FAN. MS. ALERS, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I LOOK FORWARD TO EMILY KIRKLAND'S AND CHRIS DELGADO'S STORY.

Vows took my breath away
This was the first book that I read from Ms Alers "Hideaway" series. I was trapped, confined and ultimately swallowed by the military intelligent officer Joshua Kirkland. I think this man is real and living somewhere out there. Anyway, this story is one of true love and patience on both characters. I'm glad they found each after a years separation and I can't wait to read about the rest of the Cole Clan. I'm glad Ms Alers is writing about african-american/african-latino love. It's nice to read about black people from the other parts of the Americas. I appreciate the spanish words here and there throughout the book. I wish you could use more to really describe their romantic feels as well as their other feelings. Keep up the good work Ms Alers and I look forward to the second gen of the Cole family.

OUTSTANDING
I have read this book over and over again. For some reason, this is my favorite book written by Ms. Alers. I have read ALL of her book, but, this one has a special place in my heart. Vanessa & Joshua were an outstanding couple in this book and very much in love. They seem to have that chemistry that just attracted each other. Yes, they had problems, but what couple does'nt.In the end, it all worked out for the best.Ms. Aler is a fantastic writer, and I loved the way she really exceeded my expectations with this one...

Story Better than the cover
I have to admit that I passed this book up on several occasions because I didn't like the cover. Also I was not familiar with Rochelle Alers writing But let me be the first to say that this was the best book I have read in awhile. After reading this story I am in the process of ordering the other stories before this one. Vanessa and Joshua proves that love conquers all. In this story you always have something going on that keeps your attention. This book turned out to be a real page turner!! I recommend everyone take the time to read this book.

A Real Love!
Talk about a deep! That's how deep a woman can be loved. Just ask Regina Cole. Her man loved her with everything he had in him. Aaron is my idea of a great man. He is funny, charming, caring, protective, affectionate, intelligent, and a real cutie pie! A real lovely story. Alers kicks off the Second Generation of the Cole/Kirkland/Sterling saga (the Hideaway Legacy) very nicely! Go get the complete set: Hideaway,Hidden Agenda, Vows, Heaven Sent,Harvest Moon, and Just Before Dark. Alers has more to tell about the Cole/Kirkland/Sterling clan, much love Alers!

The Second Generation of the Hideaway Legacy Continues......
If you are a first time reader to Rochelle Alers books, may I suggest before you read this one, to start at the beginning and read all of the "Hideaway Legacy." I say this because then you will be able to appreciate this continuing family saga. Well Rochelle, you did it once again and brought the warmth of this family love, and nurturing as we watched Martin and Parris's oldest child, Regina not only fight her past demons but find love and happiness with Aaron. Thanks for including the rest of the Cole/Kirkland/Sterling families and the other stories we have to look forward to as we head into the second generation of this family. You are an outstanding writer and much continued success into the new year!

OUTSTANDING,ROMANTIC,WELL WRITTEN
The second generation of the Coles,Kirklands, and the Sterlings, is a wonderfully written novel, with the love and support of family and lover, Regina Cole has grown up to become an outstanding young woman, and truly deserves the happiness shes rewarded with Aaron Spencer. Ms. Alers has always lived up to my expectations from the time I picked up my first Rochelle Alers novels, and I've come to expect nothing less, and she continues to overwhelm me with her creativity in writing. Congratulations on a job well done! Betty

Private Passion by Rochelle Alers
I have been waiting for this novel since I read the last one and I was not disappionted. Ms. Alers has done a wonderful job continuing the Hideaway Legacy Daughters and Sisters Trilogy. This page-turner wonderfully tells the story of the very beautiful and successful Emily Kirkland and the equally handsome and intelligent Christopher Delgado, whose parents I fell in love with in "Vows" and "Hidden Agenda". This book has the right mix of romance and suspense to keep you glued chapter by chapter in the tradition of the Hideaway series. I have re-read the others and expect to do the same with this one.

If Ms. Alers isn't your favorite romance writer, it's because you have never experienced her work.

Private Passions
I loved this book. I like the fact that Rochelle gives you an update on previous characters. When I first read of Chris and Emily in Regina's story, I was pleased to see that she brought them closer together in Sara and Salem's story. I could not wait for this book to come out. This story was well worth waiting for. I could not put it down. I liked how she kept Chris and Emily's marriage a secret at first. It did present some conflict. She also brought drama and mystery into the book with the murder of Emily's old friend. I love to read her books. I continue to enjoy books with the Cole's and Kirklands and all other related characters. Rochelle is great. There is never a dull moment in her books.

From Friends to Lovers
What could you expect from Rochelle Alers latest book? Nothing but the best. In Private Passions Rochelle has finally linked the Coles, Kirkland and Sterlings into a family. Emily has had a crush on Chris since they where kids spending summer vacations together. She shared her first kiss with Chris and no other man could excite her the way Chris does.

When Chris hears that Emily is engaged to another man he drops everything to go and reveal his love to her.

The author keeps the reader turning pages with love, passion and suspense. It was nice to get an update on all of the characters from her previous books. I encourage all die hard romance novel readers to go out and experience the Hide Away series you will not be disappointed.

Heaven Sent is Truly Heavenly
Heaven Sent has you glued to it from the very beginning. The story takes place in Costa Rica, but you'll have to read the book to find out what happens between the two lead characters. If you love romance novels then this is the book to read. A co-worker, who is a native of Costa Rica, read the book and said Rochelle Alers did a great job describing her homeland. My co-worker and I would like to thank her for a book well written.

Great
Can Ms. Alers go wrong!! Great, Excellent book. She has a way to make the characters come alive. Serena was tempting to David and David was tempting to Serena. Good match.
Read the book. It is worth the time.

Heaven Sent is one of Alers best.
From the beginning to the end this was a great book. Rochelle Alers painted such a vivid picture of the characters that you could see them in your mind as you read the words. Simply the best!

Anything for Parris
"Hideaway", what a great book!! I thoroughly enjoyed the romance, the intrigue, the mystery. Martin Cole was one determined man. He knew who he wanted and went after her. Martin did not stop when first given the cold shoulder by Parris. Luckily for Parris, he did not! Martin was Parris' lifesaver. But to Martin, Parris was his heart, his soul, his everything. Martin was willing to sacrifice whatever was necessary in order to win Parris and her love. Throughout their story, Martin indeed was Parris' backbone. He was there when she needed him.

Parris was a cool, intelligent woman who not only captured Martin's heart, but she had his soul as well. Parris was given the blunt end of the deal. Through no fault of hers, she had to suffer the lost of a loved one for many needless years. However, true love can outlast any stumbling blocks as shown by Martin's and Parris'story.

"Hideaway" will not leave you bored. In fact, it was a fast read and every page makes you want to learn what happens next.

"Hideaway" is the beginning of a new series by Ms. Alers. One I look forward to reading. Well, this is all for this one. I will continue the review in "Hidden Agenda" and "Vows", as well as the others.

Thanks, Ms. Alers for some great and exciting reading.

ALERS BOOK HAD ME COMPLETELY INVOLVED FROM BEGINNING TO END.
ALERS INTRODUCES TO US THE COLE FAMILY, ONE WITH STRENGTH, PERSERVERANCE AND ENDURANCE. THE CHARACTERS ARE SO VERY ADVENTUROUS, AND THE COLES RELY ON EACH OTHER IN TOUGH SITUATIONS. THE POWERFUL MAN MARTIN COLE SUCCUMBS TO A ONCE IN A LIFETIME LOVE FOUND IN PARRIS SIMMONS...NOTHING STOPS HIM OVER A DEACADE FROM FINDING PARRIS AND MAKING HER HIS FOREVER. ALERS WRITINGS (AND I HAVE READ ALL OF THEM, EVEN THOSE UNDER OTHER NAMES BECAUSE HER WRITING IS ONE OF A KIND) WILL TRULY TAKE YOU ON A ROMANTIC, ADVENTUROUS AND EXCITING TRIP MIXED WITH LOVE SCENES TO DIE FOR. I RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY TRIED OUT HER WORKS TO GET THEM NOW, AND ENJOY MEETING THE COLE ENTOURAGE....I ALMOST HATE TO SEE THE NEXT GENERATIONS OF COLES GROW UP, YET CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT ALERS HAS IN STORE FOR THEM.

FROM,

A TRUE ALERS FAN

A wonderful story of love conquering all
This was a wonderful book. I read this book after reading Vows( Joshua Kirkland's story) and Harvest Moon(Regina Cole Spencer's story) and even though I new the basic story it was wonderful to see how the story unfolded. Martin was so in love with Parris that he would do anything for her. Parris was a strong women even with everything that had happened to her. Martin's father Sammy was just evil for putting them through that mess because of his mistakes in life. Martin and Parris were a wonderful couple to read about, even with everything that happened the love that had for each other never waviered. Good Job Ms. Alers!

Happily ever after is another great one by Rochelle Alers. Lauren and Cal were married but she left, and now years later a will throws them back together, and they remarry. You don't want miss this one either.
