Fantastic photos & design ideas!
This book covers 16 homes designed by noted and not so noted architects in the Northwest. I personally liked one of these homes so much, I built one just like it as a weekend retreat. The styles vary, as do the materials and locations. Most of what you'll see in here is rather comtemporary and timeless -- it worked then, and it still works today!

Great Ideas and Photos
This book contains great ideas for doghouses. They are unique and truly amazing. The photos provide great inspiration. However, the book does not contain any actual plans to build a doghouse.

great, but not practical
It's a great book but most of the the dog house plans are not practical,I was looking for something like a presidential white house dog house or something like that. Good book though!

The Best Book I've Bought In A Long, Long, Long, Long...
long, long, long, etc., time. Everyone should own it, or at least look through it a few times. And if I could give it more than 5 stars, I'd do it in a second. These are the wildest, craziest, coolest, most amazing, most wonderful doghouses in the world. I've had some doghouse-building experience myself. It was a big one, for a bloodhound, and it had a window, a flap door, it was raised and insulated, and there was a tray for food and water bowls attached to the side. Except for the roof, it could've used paint, and it was nowhere near the kinds of things you'll see in Barkitecture, but it was better and more pampering than your average doghouse. As the book says, "We project on our pets the same desires that we, ourselves, subscribe to-one of them being the desire to live in a really cool house." How true! And what really, really cool houses are in this book! My favorites would have to be: Red Rover (page 34, the one with the pool), Villa Dog (page 37, the geometric one), Foreign Correspondent (page 53, the traveling one), !!!*SIT*!!! (page 61, the bone one), Road to Zanzibar (page 66, the Arabian one with deck), Fido's Amazing Technicolor Dreamhouse (page 68, the wacky one with the hysterical name), Chuck & Lily's Campaign Tent (page 88, the one with bedrooms), and A Doghouse for Hobie and Ryely (page 90, the summery one with the flamingoes.) And there are tons more I admire and guarantee you will, too. Or, at the very least, you'll think they're interesting, if you don't want to rush out and buy or make one for your own dog.

Poor summary, misleading title
Bought this book with expectation of extensive coverage of (project) financing of energy projects, according to title, description (and price). Instead, book contains brief and summarized information on energy services and/or outsourcing and procedures to measure energy consumption of for example single light bulbs and air conditioning systems.
