General and "light."
First, I can't recommend this book for lawyers--even though the title suggests that it is aimed partly at legal writing. There is simply not enough concrete legal-writing advice to make the book worthwhile for a lawyer.

Second, the book will probably be of limited use to other writers as well. The advice is good, but "light." In other words, the book offers very general principles and not much concrete guidance on specific writing problems. The chapters are short and easy to read, but they don't cover anything in much depth.
