Dog-gone Fun
I'm a 26 year old fan of Scooby, and also an educator. Althought this book was geared for younger children, I actually enjoyed reading it. The plot is reminiscent of the classic TV show, yet the story is simple enough that even younger readers can follow. As an educator, I se these books as a great way to introduce children to deductive reasoning, critical thinking and problem solving skills. And since the story focuses around a character with which the child is familiar, the interest level is bound to be higher.

vintage scooby
This is a vintage scooby doo mystery. The gang is off to the Lone Wolf Ranch where Fred spent his childhood. They meet up with a strange man carrying a hammer and yelling about a full moon and the wolfman coming back. There's a story that the wolfman will come back you see...and of course he does! The gang is then off to find the real identity of this wolfman, save the gold horseshoes and the ranch and keep Scooby and Shaggy from eating all the bar b qued food. The book is set up in chapters which can be read by an older child or read to a younger one. My six yr old loves scooby and wants this read to him constantly. For any adult fan of scooby who wants to introduce their children to a great classic.

Where's My Daddy.
Scooby and the gang are in Hollywood to watch the filming of a movie, THE SANDS OF CAIRO, live on set courtesy of Daphne's uncle. Shaggy and Scooby soon discover the abundance of food, while the rest of the gang becomes suspicious of strange going-ons (pillars collapsing, tents blowing down, fake coconuts falling) that are apparently the result of a mummy's curse that has fallen on the movie set. The book is filled with great illustrations and the story is fun to read. I especially enjoyed this book in the series because it takes place in Hollywood.

Excellent entertainment for the Scooby lovers!
My six year old is one of Scooby's biggest fans. She received this book as a birthday gift and this book has become one of her favorite bedtime stories. This book is also excellent for those beginning readers. There are a lot of words but almost every page has a picture as well.

Read this cool book, Sooby-Doo and the Groovy Ghost by James Gelsey with Illustrations by Duendes del Sir. I enjoyed this book because of the illustrations, good characters and lots of fun action. So, if you want to find out who the Groovy ghost is then check out this great book!

Great Readers for a Young Scooby-Doo Fan
These Scooby-Doo books are perfect for a young reader. The adventures are very similar to what you would find on TV. The easy chapter format makes the younger reader feel as if he has accomplished something each time he finishes a chapter. And, there are just the right amount of colorful pictures to keep their interest piqued. So what if the plots are a little transparent. That actually increased the pleasure of my son who was so proud to have figured out the bad guy before the gang did! Keep those Scooby books coming. Our son has read five and keeps begging for more!

Slipping and Sliding in the Snow with Scooby.
Scooby and the gang are headed for a weekend of skiing and winter fun at the Big Pine Ski Lodge. However, when they arrive the slopes are abandoned and the lodge is almost empty. Rumors and sightings of a snow monster have scared most people away. But, Fred, Daphne, and Velma aren't scared of anything (Scooby and Shaggy are scared of just about everything) and have a hunch that the snow monster isn't what it appears to be. A fun and entertaining book that I enjoyed reading. I especially liked the scenes with Scooby and the snowballs. Kids will probably enjoy this book as will any Scooby-Doo fan.

Excellent Movie!
I love this Scooby Doo movie! It's one of the best that I have ever seen. I love it because it's in a setting of snow and I love how Scooby and the gang solve the mystery! I definetly recommend!

A Cartoony Book.
Basically, this book is like reading a Scooby Doo cartoon. All the characters of the show (Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, Scooby, and the Mystery Machine) are here along with all the situations the gang usually finds themselves (chased by monsters, several possible suspects, trick doors, etc.). The story takes place on Halloween. The gang has agreed to help out with a charity auction at a fancy hotel before going trick or treating for the night. One of the items up for bid is a valuable and possibly magic jewel from Transylvania. It's an item that's so valuable a vampire is out to get it. A really fun and exciting read (and it's short, too!).

It's The Vampire! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
This is a very funny book. I love how it has color pictures!Scooby Doo is so funny in this book. I was surprised by who did it! But I won't tell! The place it takes palce in, The Brickstone, is huge. I like The Part Where Shag and Scoob run into a Vampire Coustume Party! Shaggy thought that it was the Vampire State Building! Funny!

Zoinks! It's a Zombie.
Scooby and company are going camping at Treasure Bend, a campsite famous for it's old mines and supposedly buried treasure. Business is slow so the gang can camp in the prime locale. However, rumors of a golddigger's zombie leave Scoob and Shaggy just a little uneasy. Then they meet the creature face to face. Jeepers creepers! But an unexpected accident leads Velma and Fred to suspect that the zombie isn't what he seems.

Breaking away from the usual Scooby-Doo formula this story had a couple of unexpected twists (e.g. Daphne's disappearance). I also enjoyed the character of Panther Jack. It would be neat to see him in another story sometime. Overall, a book that children and fans of Scooby-Doo will probably love.

Scary Book
My 6-year old daughter thinks this book is scary and funny. She likes the books more than the cartoons.

Scooby Boo?
Scooby and the gang are on their way to a movie when one of the Mystery Machine's tires blows out. They plan on putting on the spare only to discover that Shaggy and Scooby have replaced the tire with their "survival kit". The gang sees a mansion on the hill and treks to the door to see if they can use the phone, arriving just before a terrible storm. The owner's phone is out because of the storm but insists that they stay for dinner. Several guests are in attendance, but when the lights go out, the man who owns the castle disappears and in his place is a ghost!

This book is a fast read (for just about any age level) and feels just like a Scooby cartoon. I loved the illustrations that accompany the text. A book that just about any Scooby fan will enjoy.

Fun Wow
I liked this Scooby Doo Mystery. I am 10 years old and I haveto admit I don't always love reading, but I loved this book. It wasfast-paced and easy to read, and really kept me interested. I likethe relationships between the people in the gang because they worked so well together in solving the mystery. I recommend this book for anyone who loved the cartoon and loves mysteries for kids.

Scooby-Doo Today.
The Mystery, Inc. gang is traveling aboard an old-fashioned steamboat to have a good old time and eat plenty of food. But something's strange when the star of one of the ship's shows, Madame Aurora predicts that a completely unique computer chip will disappear and it does. But the chip isn't the only thing missing, so is Madame Aurora. It's up to Scooby and the gang to find the false fortune teller and get back the stolen chip.

This is one of the most contemporary of the Scooby stories in this series I have read. A few years ago, the plot would have seemed somewhat far-fetched. However, with the changing times and the increase in security all around, the plot couldn't be more timely.

Great reading for kids
I purchased Scooby-Doo! and the Phony Fortune-Teller and my daughter (8) loved it. It kept her interest and made reading fun. Our son (10) even found it very interesting. Since they watch Scooby-Doo on Cartoon Network, it was easy to visualize all the characters. My daughter wants to use this book for a school book report.

Laughing Elephants and Giant Blue Bears.
Scooby and the gang head to Pop's Big Top Carnival for a day of food and fun. Attendance is down due to strange happenings that people are blaming on the Carnival Creeper and Pop's may have to sell his happy business. However, once the creature is spotted the carnival is deserted and it's up to Scooby and the gang to find out who the Creeper really is.

Out of the first few books in the series this was one of the more exciting and entertaining ones. I enjoyed reading about the friendship between Bossie the Laughing Elephant and Scoob and the climax at the end is totally unexpected. Beginning readers will enjoy this book as will any Scooby-Doo fan.

Scooby Doo
I loved the book Scooby Doo And the Carnival Creeper! Scooby Doo and the gang were going to go to the Carnival and they heard people talking about something going a round the Carnival. A monster was scaring people. Finally, they found who the person was.
